Where are you located in Los Cabos?
Blue Desert Cabo has properties within the best and most exclusive communities in the area. These include Puerto Los Cabos, Querencia, Palmilla, Punta Bella, Rancho Cerro Colorado, Solaz, Cabo del Sol, Punta Ballena, Pedregal, Quivira and Diamante.
How does the check-in process work?
When you arrive at the property, a Blue Desert Cabo representative will be there to welcome you, give you a tour of the house along with the instructions on how to operate equipment such as electronic devices, connect to wi-fi and answer any possible questions you may have.
What amenities do you offer?
All our properties include wifi, concierge services, maid service, linens, towels and hygiene products such as soaps, shampoo and toilet paper.
Do you offer shuttle service or transportation to and from the airport?
Yes, we offer transportation to and from the airport, as well as to any other part of Cabo and surrounding areas. Pricing depends on distance and number of people.
Is there a rental car service at Blue Desert Cabo?
Yes, we have preferential rates with Budget. We can arrange for them to have the car ready for you at the airport or to be delivered at the house.
How many villas do you have?
We currently have 68 properties in our portfolio, but we’re always expanding and on the search for the best locations.
Are pets welcome at Blue Desert Cabo properties?
Here at Blue Desert Cabo, we love animals! Unfortunately, not all our properties are pet friendly. Please send us an email regarding this issue along with the property you’re interested in.
What is your villa reservation cancellation policy?
If it is necessary for you to cancel a reservation, we will attempt to re-rent the property for the entire period of the original booking. If the property is fully re-rented a refund will be made, less a cancellation charge of 10% of the original reservation. Partial re-rentals or rentals obtained at a lesser rate will be refunded in the amount of the re-rental less a 10% cancellation charge. Every effort will be made to re-rent the property but in those cases where we are unable to secure another rental, we regret that no refunds can be made. All cancellations must be communicated in writing no less than 60 days prior to your arrival dates, failure to give the required notice, will result in no refunds given. There are absolutely NO refunds whatsoever for the following Holiday Periods: Spring Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s. Except as specifically provided herein, all commissions and fees, and any expenses that are incurred with respect of the accommodations and services that we provide are absolutely non-refundable.
How can I modify or cancel a reservation?
Can we get an additional bed added to a room in our villa?
All our properties are different with unique characteristics, please send an email to carlos@bdcstaging.mystagingwebsite.com to see if it is possible to provide this at your preferred villa.
Am I able to use the home for a party, wedding or get-together?
Yes, you’re free to use the villa for an event. Extra fees and conditions may apply.
Am I able to prepay my stay or another guest’s stay at Blue Desert Cabo?
Yes, we are happy to accept advance payment for villa rental, services, amenities and tax at least 10 days prior to the arrival date. Send an email to bluedesert@bdcstaging.mystagingwebsite.com for a payment card authorization.
Do you place an incidental hold on my credit card upon arrival?
We do not take a hold on your credit card, we ask for a security deposit equivalent to 1 night stay that must be made at least 10 days prior to the arrival date. This security deposit is refundable, once the villa has been inspected with no signs of damage.
Am I able to check-in early?
Our check-in time is 3 p.m. If you arrive early, you may contact us via email and we will contact you when your villa is ready. Blue Desert Cabo is pleased to offer early check-in to our guests, which guarantees a room to be ready by 11 a.m. for an additional fee of $100. Am I able to check out late?
Check-out time is 11 a.m. Late check-out is offered based on availability, and late check-out fees may apply. Contact your Blue Desert Cabo guest services coordinator directly to request a late check-out.
Do you charge a resort fee?
No, we do not have a resort fee as we are not a collection of rental properties and not a resort.
Can I use my villa to hold a meeting?
Yes, you may use your villa to hold a meeting. Our expert concierge team is well-equipped to help plan your next corporate retreat.
Can I bring in personal food and drinks?
Yes, you can bring your own food and drinks as this is a private villa. For an additional fee, our concierge service will go grocery shopping for you in advance of your stay. Please inquire about this service upon booking.
What should I do if I leave behind an item after checking out?

Is Blue Desert Cabo kid-friendly?
Yes, Blue Desert Cabo welcomes families and groups of all ages.

What are the reception hours?
Since we are not a hotel, we do not have a reception, but you can contact your guest service liaison at any time.

Who do I call if I need something at my villa?
Please contact your guest service liaison and they will respond to your inquiry as soon as possible.
Are taxes included in room rates?
All rates are subject to 19% tax.
Do you offer military discounts?
No.
Where can I store my luggage if I arrive early or check out late?
Based on availability, for your convenience and safety, we can store them at the Villa.
Can I send a package to the villa?
Yes, you can. Please send us an email to carlos@bdcstaging.mystagingwebsite.com for proper instructions.
Is there an extra fee per person if we go over the house limit?
Yes, there is an extra fee of $150 USD plus taxes. Some properties are designed to hold only the capacity of people specified in the descriptions.
Do you provide extra beds/cots if there are more people staying that the house?
Yes, we can provide air mattresses at an extra cost.
Are baby cribs available?
Yes, we can provide them at an extra cost.
Does each room come with a safe?
Most of our properties come with a safe in every room. A few do not, but there is at least one safe in these properties.
What is the best time of year to visit Los Cabos?
All year long is a good time to come to Los Cabos! Every season offers great options to have a great time, whether it is whale watching, golfing, scuba diving, sailing, etc.
Is there a minimum age for check-in?
21 years old
Do you have a loyalty program?
We do not have a loyalty program, however, we’ve been successful establishing long-term relationships with our clients thanks to our commitment to guarantee the best experience every time they choose to come with us.
What amenities and services are included with a standard booking at a Blue Desert Cabo villa?
All our properties include wifi, linens, towels and hygiene products such as soaps, shampoo and toilet paper. Concierge and housekeeping services are also included. Is there a noise ordinance in Los Cabos?
By federal law, the limit between 6:00 and 22:00 is 55 dB, between 22:00 and 6:00 is 50 dB.
Is room service available at the villas?
Room service is available at our condo in Solaz and properties in Diamante. Chef services can be arranged at an extra cost for the rest of our properties.
